support and tribute to the daring stance of the
honorable Chief Justice of Pakistan. Justice Iftikhar
Muhammad Chudhry has become the hero of Pakistan’s
judiciary’s history. The current wave of judicial crisis
has proved that those people in Pakistan still exist who
have the courage to express the truth and stand for the
righteous cause in front of the tyrant ruler. Justice
Iftikhar’s suspension is an unlawful act of General
Musharraf, and nothing but the price paid by justice to
swing the sword of his pen for doing justice.
Justice is
the principle with which he served the nation of
Pakistan and came forward on public forum, as a
well-wisher of common man by using his power of Suo-Motto
action for the security of basic rights, passed ruling
against the crook privatization of steel mills, rebuked
the high officials of armed forces for their reckless
behavior towards the duty and his interest in the case
of mysterious abductions was the source of fears for the
rulers. These are highlights of those few historic
decision that became the reason for his enormous
popularity among the nation of grief and sorrows.
General
Musharraf has once again proved himself, a fascist and
authoritative ruler who has been unconstitutionally
ruling this country for the last seven years as an
unchecked and unaccountable, self appointed President.
This act of fascism by General Musharraf has once again
brought the nation at the brink of disaster like 1971.
This act of General Musharraf shows that he will not
think twice to throw the whole country into the fire of
turmoil and crisis for the sake of his massive ego. The
protests carried out by the lawyers and law bars across
the country have proved that they stand behind their
beloved Chief Justice and loath the fascism of General
Musharraf.
This
protest by the mass of commonality in every major city
has confirmed that the charges filed against justice in
the reference issued by General Musharraf are as
preposterous as the Government of General Musharraf.
Even the retired old judges including the former
President of Pakistan Rafique Tarar has come out on the
streets to protest against this outrageous step of
General Musharraf. Our web team salutes the greatness of
Justice Iftikhar and express solidarity with him. We
pray that may this dark night of fascism will be over
soon and that end will InshAllah bring us the new dawn
of democracy.
